Delivery Method

Held weekly at Bodhifit Studio & Clinic, located at 3 Wiluna Street, Fyshwick ACT, and following the ACT school term dates. The apprenticeship offers quarterly weekend workshops, retreats, and special events.

Learning Outcomes
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of yoga philosophy within historical context and philosophical principles.
  • Master a diverse range of yoga asanas, including variations and modifications, with a focus on proper alignment and techniques, such as isometric, isotonic, and isokinetic exercises, as well as expanded Kriya yoga.
  • Deepen understanding of human anatomy’s relevance to yoga practice, cultivating skills as a “body-watcher.”
  • Acquire effective teaching techniques, including class sequencing, cueing, partner work, and hands-on adjustments.
  • Cultivate personal growth through meditation practices and self-therapy.
  • Introduction to practitioner skills, including oriental bone setting, Shiatsu, and Traditional Chinese Medicine practices like meridian diagnosis and treatment, incorporating acupuncture and acupressure, as well as Zen shiatsu and corrective exercise.
  • Introduction to holistic treatment, such as oriental osteopathy and Avazzia therapy.
  • Introduction: Practitioner skills include psychotherapy, psychobiology, hypnotherapy, and chiropractic Neuroemotional Techniques used for Yoga Nidra and in Raja Yoga.
  • Develop skills promoting better physical health derived from immunobiology, Western herbal medicine, German homeopathy, Signature dieting, and body detox-cleansing.
  • Apply the core principles of Raja Yoga, drawing from a comprehensive 10-week online course dedicated to exploring the Yoga Sutra of Patanjali. Through practical exercises, proficiency in utilising the five social survival traits, the Model of Motivation, and techniques for harmonising mind and body.
  • Prepare for certification as a yoga teacher, meeting the requirements equivalent to a 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training program.
  • Advanced Practices: Explore techniques for awakening and balancing energies through Kundalini practices, and learn how chakras, bandhas and mudras enhance meditation experiences.

Suitable for all ages and ability levels. This program teaches modifications to suit individual requirements.
